DSM PROJECT LICENSE
LICENSE GRANT
The Gleghorn Lab and Synthyra ("Developers") grant you, the User, a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, fully-paid-up license to use, modify, reproduce, distribute, and publicly display the DSM models, datasets, code, and associated documentation (collectively, the "Materials") for both academic and commercial purposes, under the conditions set forth herein.
ATTRIBUTION
You must attribute credit to the Developers by explicitly mentioning "Gleghorn Lab and Synthyra" in any derived work, generated molecules, results, or decisions informed by model states, logits, embeddings, or public display of the Materials.
ACCEPTABLE USE POLICY
Intended Purpose
The Materials provided are intended for research, development, and innovation in protein engineering.
Prohibited Conduct ("Harm Clause")
Users are strictly prohibited from using the Materials to design, generate, optimize, validate, or test any biological agent, protein, or molecule intended for or with potential to cause harm to human health, agriculture, or the environment.
A non-exhaustive list of prohibited uses includes:
* Toxins, venoms, or allergens.
* Pathogenic agents or virulence factors.
* Agents intended for biological or chemical warfare.
* Substances that could disrupt ecosystems.
* Any activities that violate local, national, or international biosecurity laws or treaties.
Other Prohibitions
Users shall not:
* Introduce malware or otherwise compromise the security of services or systems using the Materials.
* Employ automated scripts to overwhelm or interfere with online services utilizing the Materials.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
The Developers provide the Materials "as is" without warranty of any kind. In no event shall the Developers be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, or consequential damages arising from or related to the use of the Materials.
GOVERNING LAW
This License shall be governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the Developers primarily operate (United States).
By using the Materials, you agree to adhere to all the terms outlined in this License.
