## Our Mission
OurseAI is a community-driven initiative dedicated to developing powerful, open-weight Artificial Intelligence models that are fully operational on consumer-grade hardware. We champion transparency in AI development and believe in democratizing access to cutting-edge technology, fostering innovation, and enabling individuals and smaller organizations to leverage AI without prohibitive costs or infrastructure.

## Core Principles
1.  **Accessibility:** We design models to run efficiently on readily available consumer hardware, ensuring broad usability.
2.  **Transparency:** We commit to open development processes, sharing insights into our methodologies, and, where feasible, details about our training data.
3.  **Open-Weight:** All our core models will be released with their weights publicly available, encouraging community collaboration, scrutiny, and further development.
4.  **Performance:** We aim to create medium-sized models that achieve intellectual performance comparable or superior to larger, proprietary systems.
5.  **Community-Driven:** OurseAI thrives on the collective intelligence, passion, and contributions of its community members.

## Funding & Support
OurseAI is proudly 100% funded by its founder and the generous contributions of our community members and patrons. We believe in recognizing those who make our work possible.

### Donor & Contributor Recognition

## Our Focus
Our primary objective is to create versatile, medium-sized AI models (e.g., Large Language Models) that rival the intellectual capabilities of much larger, resource-intensive proprietary models. These models will be optimized for inference on standard desktop CPUs and consumer GPUs.
