I recently noticed that some of my Gmail emails disappeared from inbox, and I’m not sure why it’s happening. I didn’t delete them myself, and they’re not showing up in the Trash or Spam folders either. Has anyone else faced this issue?
After some research, I found that missing emails in Gmail can be caused by several reasons. Sometimes filters or rules can move emails to other folders automatically. Another reason might be IMAP settings on third-party apps that remove emails from the inbox when accessed from other devices. In rare cases, it could also be a technical glitch or even unauthorized access to your account.
To fix this, I checked all my Gmail labels, searched with the “All Mail” option, and reviewed my filters and forwarding settings. I also checked my account activity to ensure no one else accessed it.
If you're also facing this issue, try these steps. And if anyone has found a better or more permanent solution, please share it here. It would be a big help!
