Mihira Pro: On-Device Astrological Assistant
Mihira Pro is an on-device Small Language Model (SLM) based on Qwen/Qwen2.5-0.5B-Instruct, fine-tuned specifically for Vedic & Kerala Panchangam, Muhurtha reasoning, and Vratam observances following the Drik astronomical system.
๐ Model Details
- Base Architecture: Qwen2.5-0.5B-Instruct
- Context Length: 2048 tokens
- Quantization: Int4 (AWQ / RTN) for ONNX Runtime GenAI & Q4_K_M for GGUF
- Target Footprint: < 200 MB
- Supported Languages: English, Malayalam (เดฎเดฒเดฏเดพเดณเด), and Manglish transliteration.
๐ ๏ธ Strict Function Calling Support
Mihira Pro never hallucinates astronomical calculations directly. It emits structured tool calls for:
get_panchangam(date, location_id, reckoning)find_shubha_muhurta(activity, start_date, end_date, location_id)search_calendar_db(query, year, month)
๐ฑ On-Device Deployment
- Android: ONNX Runtime GenAI (
model.onnx+genai_config.json) - iOS / Desktop / Embedded:
llama.cpp/ GGUF (mihira-pro-q4_k_m.gguf)
