Stopped working for me too.

I just randomly tested another text-transform model via inference api and got the same 504 timeout error. I think it doesnt have anything to do with this model specifically but with huggingface's inference api service..

Oh wow, that's what I was wondering, thanks for confirming that it's a larger HF issue!

I just found HF service status page https://status.huggingface.co/ and it says it's everything ok with inference api 😅 I'm pretty new to the world of machine learning and Huggingface.. Do you know if is there any official channel where we can report issues directly to HF or something?

I reported it earlier today to their support team at [email protected] but haven't heard back yet.

Gonna do the same. The more reports the better our chances.

If you check the downloads chart on the top right at https://huggingface.co/sentence-transformers/all-MiniLM-L6-v2 you can see that it just dropped a lot. The same is true for every other model. Seems to be a HF wide problem.

I'm having a look now. My understanding is that the issues have been resolved as of about 4 hours ago. I'm seeing successful requests coming in again, and I'm also able to use the widget in the model card again.
Apologies for the inconvenience.

P.s. I believe the download chart drop is because the stats for the last day are always partial. If you look again the next day, you'll see that there was no drop.

Great, thanks Tom. It looks like it worked again briefly. But now all requests are failing again at the moment.
