Dear Hugging Face Team,

I’m reaching out to request a Community GPU Grant to continue running the NotaGen Space, which has unfortunately been paused due to limited funding. NotaGen is an open-source music generation project that provides unique ABC notation output, a feature that has been highly appreciated by our community for its quality and utility in music creation.

We’ve received enthusiastic feedback from users, with many noting that NotaGen stands out among numerous music generators due to its distinctive features. However, without additional resources, we’re unable to maintain the GPU-powered Space on Hugging Face.

A Community GPU Grant would allow us to restore and sustain NotaGen, ensuring continued access for our users and further development of this innovative tool. We deeply value the Hugging Face platform and its support for open-source projects, and we hope you’ll consider supporting NotaGen with a grant to keep it accessible to the community.
