adjust the CSS to detect the theme

paper cards appear white (hard to read against the light background) because .paper-card style using a white background (background:#fff;) while my browser uses a dark theme (attached in the photo). This PR fixes it (my previous PR fixed only paper cards and I later noticed both bibtex and abstract have the same problem)
